For the first five years of living in my current home, everything was perfectly ordinary. However, as the first year came to a close, a series of inexplicable events began to unfold. It all started with my bedroom lamp, which would inexplicably turn on every night, prompting me to unplug it.

Two weeks later, I decided to record my little sister singing. When I played back the recording, I was met with shock and bewilderment. Among my sister’s sweet voice, there was an unfamiliar, deep male voice saying things that brought tears to my eyes. The chilling part was that only my sister and I were in the house at the time, and no one in our family recognized the mysterious voice.
Objects in our home began to vanish or relocate themselves sporadically, leaving me increasingly frightened and bewildered. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something supernatural was at play. Was it a ghost, or could it be something more ominous like a poltergeist? I’m terrified, and I don’t know what to do next.
