Hey, I’m Ashley, and I want to share one of the strange experiences I’ve had. It happened when I was dozing off in my favorite living room chair. My little brother, Liam, is around 11 now, and he had a friend staying over. They had been playing outside and were about to come inside when something peculiar caught their attention in the woods behind our house.
Suddenly, they froze, gazing up into the woods, their eyes wide with surprise. It was as if they had seen a ghost. They claimed they spotted a girl who looked exactly like me. This “twin” of mine apparently beckoned them to venture into the woods, insisting she wanted to show them something fascinating. Liam’s friend, Ethan, though, sensed something was off.
With a firm tone, Ethan refused, telling the girl that they wouldn’t be going into the woods because it didn’t sound like something I would do. This seemed to infuriate the mysterious doppelgänger, who began speaking in a deep, unsettling voice. Frightened, my brother and Ethan bolted into the house and woke me up.
Confused and groggy, I asked them why they were talking about me being in the woods. Their faces were pale with fear as they recounted the bizarre encounter. According to them, there was a figure identical to me, urging them to join her in the woods. We all ventured outside to investigate, but whatever it was had vanished into thin air.
Honestly, it left me bewildered and slightly unnerved. It wasn’t me, but someone or something that looked just like me had tried to lure my brother and his friend into the woods. To this day, I’m clueless about who or what that figure was and why it mimicked my appearance. If you’ve got any theories, feel free to share. Thanks for listening.
